Continuous wired recording, no subscription required:

Powered via a 5V/1A USB adapter and 2m Type-C cable, the C31 records 24/7 without interruption - there is no battery to monitor or recharge. All footage is stored locally on a microSD card (up to 256GB, sold separately) or on a compatible HomeBase Mini (up to 1TB with expansion), so there are no monthly cloud fees to worry about.

Intelligent detection and two-way audio:

Built-in AI detection identifies humans (enabled by default), vehicles, and pets, reducing unnecessary alerts. When connected to a HomeBase, the camera gains access to eufy's BionicMind facial recognition, which processes data entirely on-device. Two-way audio via the built-in microphone and speaker lets you speak and listen in real time through the eufy app.

Built for indoor and outdoor installation:

IP66-certified water and dust resistance means the C31 handles rain, dust, and damp conditions without issue. The compact body supports both upright and inverted mounting via the included bracket, and the dual antenna increases Wi-Fi coverage area by 20% and boosts transmission distance by 30% compared to single-antenna models. Setup and Care

Getting started:

Download the eufy Security app (iOS or Android) and follow the in-app setup guide to connect the C31 to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Mount the camera using the included bracket in either upright or inverted orientation, and route the Type-C cable to the USB power adapter.

Storage setup:

Insert a microSD card (Class 10 or above, up to 256GB, not included) directly into the camera for standalone local recording. Alternatively, pair the camera with a HomeBase Mini or HomeBase 3 for centralised storage and access to additional AI features including BionicMind facial recognition.

Outdoor installation:

The IP66-certified housing withstands rain, dust, and damp outdoor conditions. Ensure the Type-C cable is routed securely and use the waterproof cable management provided in the mounting kit to protect the connection point from moisture ingress.

Ongoing care:

Wipe the camera lens and housing periodically with a soft, dry cloth to maintain image clarity. The eufy Security app provides firmware update notifications; keeping firmware current ensures access to the latest detection improvements and app features.
