Eufy PoE Camera and NVR Security Camera System for Home and Business

Wired PoE security with a single cable per camera:

The Eufy NVR Security System S4 uses Power over Ethernet (PoE), so each camera receives both power and video data through one Ethernet cable connected to the NVR. There are no separate power sockets needed at each camera location, which keeps installation straightforward and the cabling tidy. The included Ethernet cables are 18 m (59 ft) each, giving good reach from the NVR to each mounting point.

Four cameras covering fixed zones and full 360-degree views:

The kit includes two PoE Cam E41 turret cameras for fixed wide-angle 4K coverage of doorways, driveways, and static zones, plus two PoE Cam S4 bullet-PTZ cameras, each combining a 4K fixed upper lens with a 2K PTZ lower lens offering 360-degree horizontal pan, 0-70-degree vertical tilt, and 8x hybrid zoom. The PTZ cameras can auto-frame and track subjects from up to 50 m (164 ft) away.

Live Cross-Cam Tracking keeps subjects in frame across the whole system:

Live Cross-Cam Tracking coordinates all cameras simultaneously so that when a person or vehicle moves out of one camera's range, the adjacent camera picks up and continues tracking without a gap. This coordinated coverage is managed locally by the NVR rather than relying on a cloud server, so it works in real time regardless of internet speed.

On-device AI via EdgeAICore processes footage locally:

The NVR houses the EdgeAICore, a 6-tera-ops AI processing engine running on an 8-core CPU. It identifies people, pets, vehicles, and packages, ranks detected threats across a seven-level scale, and supports keyword-based video search through the eufy app. Stranger recognition accuracy is quoted by eufy at approximately 98%. Because all analysis happens on the device itself, no cloud subscription is required and no monthly fee applies.

2TB hard drive included, expandable storage and channels:

A 3.5-inch 2TB hard drive comes pre-installed in the NVR, enabling continuous 24/7 local recording from day one. Storage is upgradeable to up to 16TB by fitting a larger drive. The NVR has 8 PoE ports as standard and can be expanded to 16 channels by adding a PoE switch (sold separately), supporting up to 8 Bullet-PTZ cameras or 16 Bullet or Turret cameras.

Night vision in three modes with IP65 weatherproofing:

Each camera offers three low-light recording modes: Streetlight Vision uses ambient light for natural colour footage, Spotlight Vision activates an onboard spotlight for full-colour capture, and Infrared Vision switches to black-and-white infrared when no ambient light is available. Setup and Care

Getting started:

Connect the NVR to your router using the included 1 m Ethernet cable, then connect each camera to a PoE port on the NVR using the 18 m cables supplied. Attach the NVR to a monitor or TV using the included HDMI cable for initial setup, or use the eufy Security app on Android or iOS to configure the system wirelessly after the NVR is online.

Camera placement:

Mount each camera using the included mounting brackets and screw packs. The IP65 weatherproof rating means cameras can be installed in exposed outdoor locations. The 18 m Ethernet cables give enough reach to cover most standard residential or small commercial installation runs from a centrally located NVR.

Storage and expansion:

The 2TB hard drive is pre-installed and ready to record from first use. To increase storage capacity, fit a compatible 3.5-inch hard drive of up to 16TB in the existing drive bay. To add more cameras beyond the four included, connect a PoE switch to one of the NVR's Ethernet ports to extend the system to up to 16 channels.

Ongoing care:

Clean camera lenses periodically with a soft, dry cloth to maintain image clarity, particularly after heavy rain or dusty conditions. Check Ethernet connections at camera mounting points annually to ensure the waterproof covers remain securely fitted. Keep the NVR in a well-ventilated indoor location away from direct heat sources to maintain consistent operation.
