Each camera in the eufy S3 Pro 2 cam kit (T88923W1) records at 4K (3840 × 2160) through a wide F1.0 aperture lens paired with a 1/1.8-inch stacked CMOS sensor. MaxColor Vision technology captures full-colour footage after dark without requiring an external spotlight, giving you clear, detailed images day and night. The 135° field of view and 8× digital zoom mean you can monitor a wide area and examine detail in any part of the frame.

Solar power that keeps going:

SolarPlus 2.0 combines a built-in solar panel on each camera with support for the included additional external solar panel, letting the cameras run continuously without needing to come down for charging. The cameras also switch dynamically between solar and the built-in rechargeable battery, so coverage continues even during overcast periods. A USB-C port is available for direct wired power when you want 24/7 continuous recording.

Radar and PIR dual motion detection:

The S3 Pro uses a combination of radar and passive infrared (PIR) sensors to detect movement up to 12 metres away across a 120° zone. BionicMind AI on the HomeBase S380 learns to distinguish between people, vehicles, pets, and other movement over time, reducing unwanted alerts. Customisable activity zones let you define exactly which areas trigger a notification, and a 100 dB built-in siren can be activated manually or automatically.

Local storage with no monthly fee:

The included HomeBase S380 (HomeBase 3) stores footage locally on 16 GB of built-in eMMC storage, expandable up to 16 TB via an external hard drive. Cross-Camera Tracking links events across both cameras so you can follow movement from one view to the next. There is no compulsory cloud subscription - all recording, playback, and AI processing runs locally.

Two-way audio and smart home compatibility:

A dual microphone array with AI noise reduction picks up voices at up to 8 metres, and full-duplex two-way audio lets you speak and listen in real time through the eufy Security app. The system works with Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, and Google Assistant for voice control and integration with existing smart home routines. Installation takes approximately 5 to 10 minutes per camera using the supplied mounting hardware.

Setup and Care

Getting started:

Download the eufy Security app on iOS or Android and follow the in-app setup guide to connect the HomeBase S380 to your router via the supplied Ethernet cable. Each camera pairs to the HomeBase wirelessly. Average installation time per camera is 5 to 10 minutes using the supplied mounting hardware.

Positioning the cameras:

Mount each camera at a height of 2 to 3 metres for the best motion detection coverage, with the solar panel facing towards the strongest available light source. The 135° field of view allows broad coverage from corner positions. Use the eufy Security app to configure activity zones and set detection sensitivity to suit your property.

Keeping your cameras working well:

Wipe the camera lens and solar panel periodically with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and debris that can reduce image clarity and charging efficiency. The IP67 rating means the cameras handle rain and outdoor conditions without additional protection. Firmware updates are delivered automatically through the eufy Security app when the HomeBase is connected to the internet.

Storage management:

The HomeBase S380 comes with 16 GB of built-in eMMC storage, which can be expanded by connecting an external hard drive of up to 16 TB. Older footage is overwritten automatically once storage is full, or you can manage recordings manually through the eufy Security app. Optional eufy cloud storage plans are available if off-site backup is preferred.
