Setup and Care

Charging and first-time setup:

Charge the watch fully using the USB-C cable before first use. Pair with the Garmin Connect app on your smartphone via Bluetooth to sync data, configure notifications, download Garmin Coach plans, and access Connect IQ watch faces and data fields.

Running with GPS and heart rate:

Start a run activity and the watch locks onto multi-GNSS satellites automatically. Pace, distance, heart rate, and running dynamics display in real time on screen. After the run, Training Status and Recovery Time update automatically.

Using Garmin Coach and Quick Workouts:

Select a Garmin Coach plan through the Garmin Connect app based on your goal (5K, 10K, half marathon). The plan adapts daily based on your readiness and recovery. For unplanned sessions, use the on-device Quick Workouts generator: set your available time and desired intensity and the watch creates a session tailored to your fitness level.

Health monitoring and daily wear:
