Setup and Care

Getting started:

Charge the watch fully using the proprietary USB clip cable before first use. Download the GarminConnect™ app on your iOS or Android smartphone and pair via Bluetooth to enable smart notifications, data sync, and access to the Connect IQ™ store.

Wearing and adjusting:

The silicone band is suited to daily wear and physical activity. Position the watch snugly against your wrist - approximately one finger-width above the wrist bone - to get the most accurate wrist-based heart rate and Pulse Ox² readings during exercise.

Keeping it clean:

Rinse the watch and band with fresh water after exposure to sweat, salt water, or chlorinated pools. The case and band can be wiped down with a damp cloth. Avoid soap, cleaning agents, or abrasive materials on the display or bezel.

Long-term care:

Store the watch within its operating temperature range of -20°C to 60°C. Charge within 0°C to 45°C to protect the lithium-ion battery. Keep the charging contacts clean and free from debris for reliable charging connections.
