Setup and Care

Positioning and installation:

Allow at least 50mm of clearance above the unit and 10mm on either side for adequate ventilation. The flat back design allows the fridge freezer to sit close to the wall. If you need to reverse the door, follow the step-by-step guide in the user manual — no specialist tools are required.

First use:

After delivery, leave the unit standing upright for at least two hours before switching it on, allowing the refrigerant to settle. Set the thermostat using the internal button controls and allow three to four hours to reach operating temperature before loading with food.

Keeping it clean:

Wipe the interior with a soft cloth and a mild solution of bicarbonate of soda in warm water. The glass shelves and salad crisper drawer can be removed for easier cleaning. Clean the door seals regularly to maintain their anti-bacterial effectiveness and ensure a good seal.

Defrosting the freezer:

Low Frost Technology significantly reduces ice build-up, but the freezer compartment will still require occasional manual defrosting. When a thin layer of ice forms on the walls, remove the food, switch off the unit, and allow the ice to melt naturally. Avoid using sharp implements — a plastic scraper is suitable if needed.
