ProActive Wash technology mixes water and detergent before spraying the solution directly onto the load, removing 99% of daily stains even at lower temperatures. Setup and Care

Positioning and Installation:

The HBR49SBL8-80 is freestanding and requires a 600 mm recess width and a minimum depth of 520 mm. Position on a firm, level floor and attach the supplied drain hose and inlet hose before first use. Remove the transit bolts from the rear panel before operating - these are supplied with the machine and protect the drum during transit.

Stacking:

The machine is stackable, allowing a compatible tumble dryer to be mounted on top using an appropriate stacking kit (sold separately). This makes it a practical choice for utility rooms or kitchens where floor space is limited.

Drum Cleaning and Maintenance:

Run the Drum Clean programme at 60°C regularly to keep the drum fresh and hygienic. The Clean Shield anti-bacterial treatment on the porthole gasket and the Smart Spray function help to maintain cleanliness between washes. Leave the door ajar after each cycle to allow the drum to air-dry.

App Updates and Software Support:

Connect to the hOn app via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth to receive software updates and access additional cycles. Hoover has confirmed software support for a minimum of two years from purchase, with support not expiring before 31 December 2026, in line with PSTI Regulations 2023.
