A hard-wearing floor finish for trade and commercial use:

Johnstone's Trade Flortred is a solvent-based floor paint with added polyurethane, giving it a harder film and better resistance to wear than standard single-pack coatings. It delivers a semi-gloss finish suitable for concrete, iron, steel, and wooden floors in workshops, garages, storage facilities, and commercial walkways. This 5-litre tin covers approximately 60 m² in two coats on a prepared surface.

Dark Grey - a practical choice for busy floors:

The Dark Grey shade is well suited to environments where scuff marks and surface dirt are a daily reality, as the tone helps conceal everyday wear between maintenance intervals. It performs equally well indoors and on exterior surfaces such as car park spaces and walkways, though it is not recommended for large external areas. Applied by brush or roller, it is recoatable after 16-24 hours and reaches full cure in seven days.

Chemical and impact resistance built in:

Flortred resists mild chemicals, water, oil, grease, and impact, making it a reliable choice for light to medium foot traffic and low levels of vehicle traffic. On new concrete, a thinned first coat using TC2 Thinner and Cleaner (thinned up to 10% with white spirits) acts as a sealer before two full topcoats. On wooden floors, no primer is required before application. Where additional grip is needed, Johnstone's Trade Anti-Slip Additive can be mixed in prior to application.
