Setup and Care

Placement and connection setup: Unbox the soundbar and inspect for damage. Choose placement: directly below your TV on a stand, console, or wall-mounted 10-15cm below the screen (mounting brackets sold separately). Connect the soundbar to your TV using either HDMI ARC (single cable to your TV's eARC port; recommended) or Bluetooth wireless pairing. For HDMI ARC, plug the included HDMI cable into the soundbar's HDMI port and the TV's eARC port, then power on both devices. Alternatively, press the Bluetooth button on the remote and pair via your TV's Bluetooth menu.

Initial power-up and source selection: Plug the power cord into a mains outlet. Press the power button on the remote or the soundbar itself; the indicator light will illuminate. The soundbar automatically detects incoming HDMI or USB audio and begins playback. For Bluetooth streaming, go to your phone or tablet's Bluetooth settings, find "LG-US20A", and pair. Once paired, audio automatically routes through the soundbar when you press play on music or video apps.

Optimising audio and preset modes: Use the remote's mode button to cycle through Standard, Cinema, and Game presets based on your activity. Standard is neutral for music and general TV. Cinema enhances dialogue clarity and cinematic depth for films. Game boosts treble and dynamic response for video games. AI Sound Pro activates automatically in all modes, so you don't need to manually adjust bass or treble unless you prefer a specific sound signature. Adjust overall volume using the remote's +/- buttons.

Maintenance and long-term care: Wipe the soundbar exterior monthly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. Avoid water, solvents, or abrasive cleaners that could damage the plastic casing. Check HDMI and USB cable connections monthly to ensure they remain fully seated, especially if you move the soundbar. If the soundbar enters standby mode automatically after 30 minutes of inactivity (normal energy-saving feature), simply press a button on the remote or your device to wake it. If Bluetooth connectivity drops unexpectedly, move closer to the soundbar or re-pair the device via Bluetooth settings. Store the remote in a safe, dry location. The soundbar requires no internal cleaning or filter changes.
