A complete hole-cutting solution for masonry work:

This Mexco 9-piece kit gives tradesmen three core sizes in a single case, covering the most common hole diameters needed for pipework, cables, and ducting through brick and block. The three DCX90-grade core drills measure 38mm, 52mm, and 117mm in diameter, each with a 170mm barrel length, and all use the standard ½" BSP Female Fitment that is common across the Mexco dry core drill range.

DCX90 grade construction for site use:

Each core drill in the set features Brazed Flat Curve segments with a 10mm segment height and a Slotted and Fluted steel barrel. The high diamond concentration in the X90-grade segments delivers long-life cutting performance and fast waste removal without the need for water cooling. Hammer or impact drilling action must never be used with these bits; drill speeds of between 440 and 2,500 rpm are required depending on the core size selected.

Suitable materials and limitations:

The set is designed for facing bricks, concrete blocks, breeze blocks, insulation blocks, and soft stone. It is not suitable for reinforced or non-reinforced concrete, or for engineering or clay bricks. A minimum drill motor power of 850W fitted with a slipping clutch is required for correct and safe operation.

Compact carry case and restockable components:

All nine components store neatly in the included aluminium and plastic rolling carry case, keeping the kit organised between jobs. Every item in the set can be purchased individually from the Mexco range, so worn or damaged bits can be replaced without buying the entire kit again.
