Setup and Care

Getting started:

Attach the hose to the vacuum body, then connect the telescopic tube and your chosen floor tool. The cord is pre-wound via the auto rewind mechanism and extends fully with a gentle pull. All accessories store conveniently on the unit for quick access between rooms.

Checking the dust bag:

Monitor the dust bag condition indicator on the unit and replace the bag when it signals full. Three dust bags are included; replacement Morphy Richards vacuum bags for the 980565 are available separately. Using genuine replacement bags helps maintain suction and filter performance.

Filter care:

The HEPA 12 filter should be inspected periodically and replaced according to the manufacturer's guidance in the instruction booklet. A clean filter maintains suction output and filtration efficiency. Never wash the HEPA 12 filter unless the manufacturer explicitly states it is washable.

After each use:

Press the auto cord rewind button to retract the cord fully before storing. Check the hose and telescopic tube for blockages if suction feels reduced. If the thermal cut-out activates during use, switch the vacuum off, clear any blockage, and allow a few minutes for the motor to cool before restarting.
