Morphy Richards Essentials Bagged Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner for Everyday Home Use

A compact Morphy Richards hoover for everyday cleaning:

The Morphy Richards Essentials 980564 is a bagged cylinder vacuum cleaner rated at 700W. The 2-litre bag capacity keeps interruptions to a minimum during a cleaning session, and the compact cylinder body is straightforward to move from room to room. The Morphy Richards Essentials compact vacuum cleaner suits households that want a no-fuss, practical machine.

HEPA filtration and variable power control:

A HEPA filter traps fine particles as air passes through the vacuum, retaining them inside the machine. Variable power control lets you adjust suction to suit different surfaces, from delicate rugs through to hard floors, without needing to change attachments. The 1.5-metre hose and plastic extension tubes give a comfortable reach for both floor and above-floor cleaning tasks.

Practical design for everyday use:

A 5-metre cord with automatic cable rewind gives a generous working radius from a single socket, covering most rooms without repositioning the plug. The included crevice tool handles skirting boards, stair edges, and tight corners where the floor nozzle cannot reach. Compatible replacement bags are the 1900m bag series.

Setup and Care

Getting started:

Assemble the extension tubes and attach the floor nozzle or crevice tool to the hose handle before first use. Connect the hose to the vacuum body, plug in, and select your preferred power level using the variable control before switching on.

Changing the bag:

When the bag indicator shows the bag is full, switch off and unplug the vacuum before opening the bag compartment. Remove the full bag, then fit a fresh 1900m series replacement bag before closing the compartment.

Filter care:

The HEPA filter should be checked periodically and replaced according to the schedule in the user manual to maintain suction performance. Always ensure the filter is dry and correctly seated before using the vacuum again after any maintenance.

Storage:

Press the automatic cable rewind button to retract the full length of cord neatly into the body before storing. Store the vacuum upright in a dry location with the accessories clipped or stored nearby for easy access at the next use.
