Quooker PRO3 Flex Boiling Water Tap in Patinated Brass with 3-litre Tank, Pull-out Hose Safety Lock, and HiTAC Filter

Instant boiling water with a pull-out hose:

The Quooker Flex is the only tap in the Quooker range with a pull-out hose, dispensing 100°C boiling water, hot water, and cold water from a single spout. The spout rotates 270° and the hose extends to give you greater reach around the sink. A dedicated safety interlock, the boiling-water stop, prevents boiling water from dispensing while the hose is pulled out, so the flex function and the boiling function cannot be used simultaneously.

PRO3 under-sink tank:

The PRO3 tank stores 3 litres of water under pressure at 108°C using patented high-vacuum insulation in the tank wall. This insulation is what limits standby consumption to just 10 watts, approximately 3 pence per day. The tank requires 470 mm of clear height and 150 mm diameter space under the sink, with an additional 80 mm clearance above the tank for the hose. Heat-up time from cold is 10 minutes.

HiTAC water filtration:

Before water leaves the tank it passes through the HiTAC® high-temperature activated carbon filter, which removes impurities and improves taste. The filter has a 5-year lifespan, making it one of the longest-lasting filters in this category. The PRO3 Flex can be converted to a 4-in-1 model, adding chilled filtered cold water, with the optional Cold Water Filter kit (sold separately).

Patinated Brass: a living finish:

The Patinated Brass finish on the Flex tap develops a natural patina through oxidation over time. Everyday handling leaves individual marks on the surface, meaning each tap gradually becomes unique to the kitchen it is installed in. Quooker describes it as an ornament for the countertop rather than a standard tap fitting.

Safety and installation:

The handle uses a childproof double-push-and-turn mechanism with an illuminated ring, two pushes and a turn are required before boiling water is released. The tap connects to the cold water supply and requires a standard 13-amp type G power socket with earth pin within reach under the sink. A minimum cold water pressure of 2 bar is required, with a maximum of 10 bar. A pressure relief valve is included. Descaling every 6 months is recommended in hard water areas.

Setup and Care

Installation:

The Flex tap requires a 35 mm tap hole and a maximum worktop thickness of 50 mm. The PRO3 tank requires 470 mm of clear height with 150 mm diameter space under the sink, plus 80 mm clearance above the tank. A minimum 500 mm deep by 200 mm wide space is needed below the tap position to allow the Flex hose weight to travel freely. Connection is to the cold water supply via 3/8" BSPP male fittings, and a 13-amp earthed power socket is required within reach of the 0.5 m mains lead. Professional installation by a qualified plumber is recommended.

Patinated Brass care:

The Patinated Brass finish is designed to develop a natural patina over time - this is an intentional characteristic of the finish, not a defect. Wipe the tap with a soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly after cleaning. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or chemical descalers on the tap body, as these will damage the finish.

Descaling the tank:

In hard water areas, descaling the PRO3 tank every 6 months helps maintain performance and extends the life of the unit. Quooker's Scale Control descaler is available separately and is formulated for use with the PRO3 tank. The HiTAC filter has a 5-year service life and can be replaced without draining the tank.

Warranty registration:

Register the product on the Quooker website after installation to activate the 2-year manufacturer's guarantee. Keep the proof of purchase and the installation date on record, as these are required for any warranty claim.
