Russell Hobbs Victory 22000 Grind and Brew Filter Coffee Machine

Fresh beans, fresh coffee every morning:

The Russell Hobbs Victory 22000 combines a stainless steel burr grinder with a full-size drip filter coffee machine in one unit. It grinds whole beans directly into the permanent filter basket before each brew, so every pot is made from freshly ground coffee. Three coarseness levels let you adjust the grind to suit your preferred strength and roast.

Set it and wake up to fresh coffee:

The 24-hour programmable timer lets you load the hopper and carafe the night before and choose the exact time you want brewing to begin. The 1.25-litre glass carafe holds up to 10 cups, making it well suited to households where several people want coffee at the same time. Once brewing is complete, the keep-warm hotplate maintains the coffee at serving temperature for up to 40 minutes.

Straightforward to use and easy to maintain:

The permanent washable filter basket eliminates the ongoing need for paper filters, which keeps running costs low and reduces waste. The machine also accepts pre-ground coffee if you prefer, so it works equally well on days when you have ground coffee to hand. The carafe and filter basket are both removable for easy cleaning.

Setup and Care

Getting started:

Place the machine on a flat, stable surface near a mains socket. Fill the water reservoir to your desired level, load whole beans into the hopper or add pre-ground coffee directly to the filter basket, and select your preferred coarseness setting. Use the digital display to set the 24-hour timer if you wish to programme a brew time in advance.

Daily cleaning:

After each use, remove the glass carafe and the permanent filter basket and rinse both under warm running water. The filter basket is washable and reusable, so no replacement paper filters are needed. Wipe the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth and allow it to dry before storing or covering.

Descaling and maintenance:

Regular descaling keeps the machine brewing efficiently. Follow the descaling instructions in the supplied manual, using a descaling solution compatible with filter coffee machines. How often to descale depends on your local water hardness, so descale more often in hard-water areas.

Storage:

If the machine is not going to be used for an extended period, empty the water reservoir and hopper fully and store in a cool, dry place. Keep the carafe and filter basket clean and dry before reassembling for storage to prevent any build-up of stale residue.
