Setup and Care
Getting started:
Attach the Basic Feet stand before placing the TV on a flat, stable surface. Connect to your home broadband via Wi-Fi 5 or the rear LAN port during the initial Tizen OS setup wizard. The Samsung SmartThings app on a compatible smartphone can speed up Wi-Fi pairing and account sign-in.
Mounting on a wall:
The U7000H is VESA 200 x 200 mm compatible. Use a bracket rated for at least 8.7 kg and follow the bracket manufacturer's wall-fixing guidance for your wall type. The TV is 76.4 mm deep without the stand, so a low-profile bracket will sit close to the wall.
Connecting your devices:
Use HDMI port 1 for any soundbar or AV receiver to take advantage of eARC audio return. Ports 2 and 3 handle consoles, streaming sticks, and other 4K sources. The single USB-A port supports USB storage for media playback and software updates.
Keeping the screen clean:
Wipe the screen gently with a soft, dry microfibre cloth, working in one direction to avoid streaking. Avoid household cleaning sprays, alcohol-based solutions, or abrasive materials directly on the panel. Disconnect the power before cleaning the TV body and ports.
