Setup and Care
Getting started:
The R85H ships with the Round Feet stand and all required cables. Attach the stand using the fixings provided, connect the power cable, and follow the on-screen Tizen OS setup guide to connect to Wi-Fi and sign into your Samsung account. Registering with Samsung within 90 days of purchase activates the 5-year guarantee.
Wall mounting:
The VESA pattern is 300 x 200 mm. Use a bracket rated for at least 14.6 kg and ensure fixings are appropriate for your wall type. Professional installation is recommended for wall mounting to protect both the TV and the wall surface.
Connectivity and pairing:
Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 are configured during initial setup. HDMI 2.1 cables are recommended for 4K @ 144Hz gaming; standard HDMI cables may limit refresh rate on compatible consoles. The eARC port (HDMI 1) requires an ARC or eARC-compatible soundbar for full audio passthrough.
Cleaning and care:
Wipe the screen gently with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. Avoid spraying liquids directly onto the panel or frame. The SolarCell Remote charges passively in ambient light and does not require batteries under normal use. Keep ventilation gaps clear around the TV to maintain airflow.
