The Energy Score gives you a daily readiness rating based on overnight Vitals monitoring - covering heart rate, HRV, respiration rate, SpO2, and skin temperature - while the Heart Health Score tracks cardiovascular wellness over time using lifestyle inputs. The BioActive Sensor combines ECG, optical heart rate, and Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis in a single housing on the underside of the 8.6 mm slim Armor aluminum case.

Snapdragon Wear Elite Platform:

This is the first Galaxy Watch to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear Elite Platform - a 5-core processor built on a 3 nm process, running at up to 2.1 GHz. Sleep Coaching with Galaxy AI:

The Sleep Coaching programme runs over 3 to 4 weeks, analysing your sleep patterns nightly and delivering personalised guidance through the Galaxy AI framework. The watch is FDA-cleared for sleep apnea risk detection, which runs passively during sleep without requiring additional setup. Setup and Care

Getting Started:

Download the Galaxy Wearable app on your Android smartphone (Android 13 or above) and follow the on-screen pairing steps. The watch charges via the included magnetic cable; a full charge from flat takes approximately 85 minutes with a compatible fast wireless charger (sold separately).

Wearing the Watch:

For accurate sensor readings from the BioActive Sensor, wear the Galaxy Watch9 snugly on the inside of your wrist, one finger-width above the wrist bone. The Dynamic Lug System keeps the band flush against your skin, which improves both comfort and measurement accuracy during activity and sleep tracking.

Water Use:

The Galaxy Watch9 is rated to 5 ATM and IP68, making it suitable for swimming in pools and the sea, as well as showering. Rinse the watch and band under fresh water after exposure to salt water or chlorine. Avoid exposing the watch to high-pressure water jets, saunas, or steam rooms.

Band and Case Care:

Clean the silicone Sport Band with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaning materials on the Armor aluminum case. The sapphire crystal glass display is highly scratch-resistant but should be kept away from hard minerals such as diamond or corundum. Store the watch away from direct heat sources and strong magnetic fields when not in use.
