Health monitoring that works while you sleep:

The Vitals feature tracks heart rate, heart rate variability, respiratory rate, skin temperature, and blood oxygen simultaneously overnight, alerting you to subtle changes before they become noticeable. The upgraded BioActive sensor also supports ECG readings, Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis, and an FDA-cleared sleep apnea risk detection function. Setup and Care

Getting started:

Download the Samsung Health app on an Android 13 or later smartphone and follow the on-screen pairing guide. The watch walks you through health sensor calibration and permission setup during first use, which typically takes around 10 minutes.

Wearing for best sensor accuracy:

The Dynamic Lug System is designed to seat the watch snugly against your wrist, which helps the BioActive sensor maintain consistent contact for heart rate and BIA readings. Wearing the watch one finger-width above the wrist bone and keeping the band comfortably firm gives the most reliable results during exercise and overnight tracking.

Charging and battery care:

Place the watch on the included wireless charging puck on a flat surface. A full charge from empty takes approximately 80 minutes. Enabling sleep mode or turning off AOD when battery is low can extend runtime toward the 40-hour upper figure.

Cleaning and water use:

The 5 ATM and IP68 ratings mean the watch can be worn swimming in fresh water to 50 metres. Rinse the watch and band with fresh water after pool or sea exposure and dry with a soft cloth. Clean the band with a lightly dampened cloth and allow it to air dry before wearing.
