What the Shark CarpetXpert EX150UK Does:

The Shark CarpetXpert EX150UK is a mains-powered upright carpet cleaner and spot cleaner in one. It uses high-pressure spray to drive cleaning solution deep into carpet fibres, then extracts the dirty water with suction, without over-soaking the pile, for a fast dry time. Shark states it delivers an 8x deeper clean than a regular vacuum.

Two Cleaning Modes in One Machine:

The EX150UK works as a full upright carpet cleaner for whole-room cleans, and switches to handheld spot cleaning via the 1.5m flexible hose and included Tough Stain Tool. Use it across carpets, rugs, stairs, sofas, upholstery, and car interiors. The 360-degree hose rotation keeps the hose out of the way as you move around the room.

Dry Only Mode and Easy Maintenance:

Once the main wash is done, Dry Only mode lets you go over the carpet again using suction alone - no water, no solution - to pull out remaining moisture and speed up drying. The brushbar removes easily for cleaning, and both the 2.3L clean water tank and the 850ml dirty water tank detach for straightforward emptying and rinsing.

Setup and Care

Getting Started:

Fill the clean water tank with cold or lukewarm water (no hotter than 60°C) and add the recommended amount of CarpetXpert Deep Clean Pro Formula. Reattach the tank, plug in, and select your cleaning mode using the LED indicator before beginning. Always perform a patch test before use.

After Each Use:

Empty and rinse both the clean water tank and the dirty water tank after every session. Run the Hose-Cleaning Tool through the hose to clear any residue before storing.

Brushbar and Filter Care:

Remove the easy clean brushbar regularly and clear any trapped fibres or debris. Rinse the foam filter as needed and allow it to dry fully before refitting.

Storage:

Store the unit upright in a dry indoor location with both tanks empty. Wrap the cord loosely and ensure the hose is free of kinks to keep it in good working order.
