Stay informed when the power goes out: The Sinox SXL5500 covers FM (87.5-108.0 MHz), AM (530-1710 kHz) and two shortwave bands (SW1 3.2-10.0 MHz and SW2 10.0-22.0 MHz), so you can keep up with local news, weather and national broadcasts during a storm or power cut. Bluetooth, USB and Micro SD playback mean it doubles as a portable speaker the rest of the year.

Keeps charging without the mains: The built-in 3.7 V / 1200 mAh lithium battery recharges via USB-C (5 V / 1 A), the integrated solar panel or the hand crank dynamo. All three methods work independently, so the radio can be kept going with no mains power and no sunlight. Its 500 mA powerbank output gives a phone or small USB device a top-up when you need it most.

Everything you need for a power cut in one bundle: This bundle adds three essentials to the radio. The Lighthouse COB Swivel Light & Torch gives a 220 lumen floodlight for lighting a room, a 120 lumen spotlight and a 3 LED flashing hazard light. The Energizer Vision Headlamp gives 200 lumens of hands-free light for getting around the house, checking the fuse board or working outside. The OtterBox USB-C to USB-C cable is a spare lead for charging the radio from a USB-C plug or power bank. Batteries are included for both the torch and the headlamp, so the full kit is ready to use straight out of the box.

Light for every job: The Lighthouse swivel base sets the light at whatever angle you need, and its magnetic base and folding hang hook let you fix it to a metal surface or hang it up, freeing both hands. The Energizer headlamp has an adjustable tilting head, two light modes, a range of up to 50 m and IPX4 weather resistance for use outdoors in the rain.

Compact enough for any emergency kit: At 440 g and 147 x 71 x 99 mm, the radio sits easily in a drawer, car boot or emergency bag alongside the torch, headlamp and cable, so everything is in one place when the lights go out.
