Smith and Rodger Blockade Shellac Sealer Primer for Interior Stain Blocking
One coat for stubborn stains and odours:
Blockade uses a pure shellac base to permanently seal stains from fire, smoke, water and nicotine on interior surfaces. Unlike many water-based alternatives, a single coat is all that is needed to lock in the problem before applying your chosen topcoat.
Fast drying with no grain raising:
Touch dry in just 15 minutes and ready to overcoat after 45 minutes, Blockade keeps projects moving without long drying delays. The solvent-based shellac formula does not raise the grain of wood, making it a practical choice for timber surfaces where a smooth finish matters.
Versatile surface coverage:
Blockade can be applied to interior wood, plaster, tiles and metal using a brush, roller, airless spray or HVLP spray equipment. It accepts all water-based and oil-based topcoats once dry, so there is no restriction on your chosen finish coat. The 500ml size is well suited to one-off areas of damage, isolated staining, or smaller interior projects.
