Rocktop Multi-Surface Clearcoat from Smith and Rodger is formulated to seal, protect, and enhance most interior surfaces, including wooden floors, doors, worktops, painted furniture, stone, brick, cork, vinyl, and wallpaper. A single 2.5 litre tin covers approximately 25 square metres per coat, making it well suited to larger rooms and open-plan spaces.
Water-based formula that dries clear and won't yellow:
Because Rocktop is water-based, it dries completely clear without the yellowing associated with older solvent-based finishes. This makes it a reliable choice for pale-coloured furniture, painted walls, and wallpaper where colour accuracy matters. The low-VOC composition also means low odour during application, which is a practical benefit in occupied homes.
Fast drying and ready to walk on within 24 hours:
Rocktop is touch dry in 30 minutes and can be overcoated after just 90 minutes, so multiple coats can be applied in a single day. Wooden floors are walkable after 24 hours and reach full cure in five days. Smith and Rodger recommend 3 to 4 coats on floors and woodwork for a fully durable finish, and just 1 to 2 coats on walls, stone, and wallpaper.
