Smith and Rodger Rocktop: Interior Wood Varnish for Every Surface
A clearcoat built for busy interiors:
Rocktop Multi Surface Clearcoat from Smith and Rodger is a water-based interior wood varnish designed to seal, protect, and enhance a wide range of household surfaces. It is formulated specifically for high-traffic areas, providing a hard-wearing satin finish that resists knocks and scuffs without darkening or yellowing the surface beneath.
Faster drying, simpler application:
The water-based formula means Rocktop is touch dry in just 30 minutes and ready to recoat after 90 minutes, making it practical for multi-coat projects completed in a single day. It applies easily by brush or roller and cleans up with water and mild detergent, avoiding the fuss associated with solvent-based products.
Suitable for more surfaces than a standard varnish:
Rocktop is suitable for wooden floors (walk-on after 24 hours, four coats recommended), doors, skirting, worktops, painted furniture, stone, brick, cork tiles, vinyl floors, and wallpaper. For painted walls, stone walls, and wallpaper, one to two coats is sufficient. It can also be applied over any water-based emulsion paint to create a scuff-free finish on painted furniture or feature walls. Full cure is reached after five days.
