Hellberg Secure 2 Headband Ear Defenders for Medium to High Noise Environments

Reliable passive hearing protection rated SNR 31 dB:

The Hellberg Secure 2 is a passive headband ear defender designed for sustained use in medium to high noise environments ranging from 90 to 110 dB. With an SNR rating of 31 dB and HML values of H-35 dB, M-29 dB, and L-19 dB, it provides a consistent level of attenuation suited to building and construction sites, heavy industrial settings, and any workplace where long-term noise exposure is a concern.

Non-conductive thermoplastic construction:

The headband and ear cups are manufactured from durable thermoplastic that maintains clamping force and flexibility across variable temperatures and rough working conditions. The non-conductive material makes these ear defenders a practical choice for working in close proximity to electrical sources, where metal components would not be appropriate.

Comfortable fit and straightforward size adjustment:

A telescopic size adjustment mechanism allows the headband to be set to suit all head sizes without tools. Soft ear cushions distribute pressure evenly for all-day comfort, and the headband itself features cushioned padding to reduce fatigue during extended shifts. The snap-in cushion replacement system means worn or soiled cushions can be swapped out quickly to maintain hygiene and performance over the product's working life.

Colour-coded protection level for quick on-site identification:

Hellberg's Secure range uses bright, clearly differentiated colours to indicate protection level at a glance. The Secure 2 is finished in yellow and black, distinguishing it from the lower Secure 1 and the higher Secure 3, so supervisors and workers can confirm the correct level of protection has been selected without needing to read labelling. The headband is also compatible with the Hellberg SAFE 1 face protection system for combined visor and hearing protection.
