The Hellberg XStream LD are bluetooth ear defenders built for occupational use, providing SNR 29dB noise attenuation while allowing you to stream music wirelessly, take hands-free calls, and remain aware of your surroundings. The built-in rechargeable Li-Ion battery delivers up to 55 hours of use from a 3-hour charge, with a 100-hour standby time, making them reliable across extended working days and weeks without constant recharging.

Level-dependent Active Listening for situational awareness:

Each earcup houses a level-dependent Active Listening microphone that monitors ambient sound and passes through voices, warning signals, and environmental cues at a safe level. This means you can hold a conversation or hear site instructions without removing the ear defenders. The directional microphone arrangement preserves natural stereo sound, helping you judge the direction of sounds around you.

Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity with voice assistant support:

Bluetooth 4.1 with A2DP 1.2, HSP 1.1, and HFP 1.6 profiles connects wirelessly to your phone for music streaming and calls. Setup and Care

Getting started:

Charge the unit fully before first use by connecting the supplied USB cable to any USB power source - a wall adaptor, PC port, or car USB socket all work. The 3-hour charge time gives you up to 55 hours of use. Adjust the headband to size S, M, or L for a comfortable, secure fit before heading on site.

Pairing with your phone:

Activate Bluetooth on your phone and switch the XStream LD into pairing mode using the power control on the earcup. Once paired, the connection is retained for future use. The Hellberg SafetyHub app is available for additional setup and control options.

Cleaning and storage:

Wipe the earcups and headband with a damp cloth after use, avoiding the speaker grilles and USB charging port. The IPX4 rating protects against rain and splashing water during use, but the unit should be stored dry and away from extreme temperatures when not in use.

Long-term care:

The automatic power-save function will shut the unit off after a period of inactivity, helping to maintain battery health over time. For best long-term battery performance, avoid storing the unit fully discharged for extended periods. Inspect the headband cushioning and earcup seals regularly to ensure the fit and attenuation performance remain consistent.
