Steelex Fridge Freezer Thermometer with Stainless Steel Dial

Read your fridge or freezer temperature at a glance:

The Steelex HK6032F is a straightforward fridge freezer thermometer that uses an analog dial mechanism - no batteries, no charging, no setup required. The large red pointer moves against a clearly marked dial face, so you can check the internal temperature of your fridge or freezer without having to peer at a small digital display.

Colour-coded zones take the guesswork out of food safety:

The dial features blue and yellow temperature zone indicators that highlight the safe storage ranges for refrigerated and frozen food. This makes it easy to confirm at a glance whether your appliance is maintaining the correct temperature without needing to interpret a numerical reading on its own.

Stainless steel build, flexible placement:

The casing is constructed from stainless steel, which resists corrosion in the cold, damp environment inside a fridge or freezer. The thermometer is designed to hang from a shelf or stand upright on its own, so it works in most fridge and freezer configurations without requiring any fixings or adhesives.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this fridge freezer thermometer need batteries or any power source?

No batteries are required, ever. This is a fully analog dial thermometer that operates on a mechanical temperature-sensing principle, with no electrical components of any kind. There is nothing to charge, replace, or set up. Hang it in the fridge or freezer and it works immediately, with no ongoing running cost.

How do I know whether my fridge or freezer is at a safe temperature?

The dial face features blue and yellow colour-coded zone indicators that highlight the safe storage ranges for refrigerated and frozen food. Rather than interpreting a number on its own, a glance at where the large red pointer falls within those zones confirms whether the appliance is keeping food at the correct temperature. The HK6032F covers a range of approximately -29 degrees C to 27 degrees C.

How does this fridge and freezer thermometer stay in place inside the appliance?

It is designed to hang from a shelf or stand upright on its own, so no fixings, adhesives, or drilling are needed. This makes it compatible with most fridge and freezer configurations, whether the interior has wire shelving, glass shelves, or an open floor space. No mounting hardware is required.

What is the casing made from?

The casing is constructed from stainless steel, which resists corrosion in the cold, damp environment inside a fridge or freezer. The dial face is protected by a glass lens, and the pointer is a high-visibility red. This combination of materials is chosen specifically to remain durable and legible under the condensation and temperature cycling typical of everyday refrigeration use.

Can I recycle my old appliance or electrical item with Heavins.ie?

Yes, Heavins.ie is fully committed to environmental responsibility and participates in Ireland’s WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) recycling scheme. That means when you buy a new electrical item from us, we offer free recycling of your old appliance or electrical item.
