Frequently Asked Questions

What are the Cook and Measure markings on this glass chopping board used for?

The Cook and Measure markings are printed directly onto the glass surface and give a handy reference guide for portioning and measuring while you prep. They let you gauge quantities and sizes without reaching for a separate ruler or scale. The WS1007 is one of the few chopping boards that puts this practical reference right under your knife hand, saving a step during everyday cooking.

Will this glass chopping board stain or absorb food odours over time?

Tempered glass is non-porous, so it does not stain or absorb food odours the way wood or some plastic boards can. Bacteria have nowhere to harbour, which makes it a more hygienic surface for everyday food preparation. A quick wipe after use is all it takes to keep the board clean and odour-free between sessions.

Is this glass chopping board large enough for everyday kitchen prep?

At 30cm x 40cm, the board gives a generous working area for most day-to-day prep tasks without taking over the worktop. The compact footprint is sized to fit standard kitchen worktops, and the flat profile means it stores upright or lays flat in a drawer or cupboard with ease.
