Steelex Wild Flowers Glass Chopping Board for the Kitchen

A practical surface with a decorative finish:

This Steelex tempered glass chopping board measures 30cm x 40cm, giving you a generous work surface for everyday food preparation. The Wild Flowers design is printed beneath the glass, keeping it protected from scratches and fade during regular use.

Hygienic and easy to clean:

Glass is non-porous, which means it does not absorb moisture, bacteria, or food odours the way wooden or plastic boards can. A quick wipe with a damp cloth or a rinse under the tap is all that is needed after use.

Doubles as a kitchen display piece:

The floral pattern makes this board a practical choice for households where presentation matters. It can sit on a worktop between uses without looking out of place, and also makes a thoughtful gift for anyone setting up or refreshing a kitchen.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does a glass chopping board absorb stains, odours, or bacteria the way wooden or plastic boards can?

Glass is non-porous, so it does not absorb moisture, food odours, or bacteria - unlike wooden or plastic boards, which can harbour residue in surface scratches or open grain. A quick wipe with a damp cloth or a rinse under the tap is enough to clean this board after use, making it a practical choice for everyday food preparation.

Will the Wild Flowers design scratch or fade with everyday chopping?

The floral print is applied beneath the glass surface rather than on top of it, so it is protected from knife marks and general wear during regular use. The pattern stays visible and intact even with daily chopping. The WS1002WD also doubles as a worktop display piece between meals, so the design is intended to remain presentable over time.

What size is this glass chopping board?

The board measures 30cm x 40cm, giving a generous work surface well suited to everyday tasks such as chopping vegetables, slicing bread, or preparing meat. That footprint sits comfortably on a standard kitchen worktop and is large enough to handle most routine food preparation without feeling cramped.
