The Archer MR200 houses an integrated 4G LTE modem, so there is no need for a separate modem box. Insert a nano SIM card, plug in the power adapter, and the router connects to the mobile network automatically, delivering download speeds of up to 150 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 50 Mbps over a Cat.4 LTE connection.

Dual-band Wi-Fi across two frequencies:

The Archer MR200 broadcasts on both 2.4 GHz (up to 300 Mbps) and 5 GHz (up to 433 Mbps), giving a combined wireless throughput of 733 Mbps. Devices that need range can connect to 2.4 GHz, while those closer to the router and running video or gaming traffic can use the less congested 5 GHz band. Up to 64 wireless devices can share the connection simultaneously.

Wired broadband with 4G as a backup:

The fourth port doubles as a LAN/WAN port, so you can run the Archer MR200 from a standard cable or DSL broadband line instead of a SIM. With WAN Failover active, the router switches automatically to the 4G connection if the wired broadband drops, keeping your network online without any manual intervention.

Mesh, guest networks, and remote management:

The Archer MR200 supports TP-Link's OneMesh™ standard, allowing it to work alongside compatible OneMesh Range Extenders or Powerline Adapters under a single Wi-Fi name. Setup and Care

Getting connected:

Insert a nano SIM card into the slot on the underside of the router, connect the power adapter, and follow the Quick Installation Guide. The Tether app for Android and iOS guides you through initial setup step by step, including entering your APN details if required by your mobile network provider.

Connecting wired devices:

Up to three devices can connect directly via the LAN ports using standard Ethernet cables. The fourth port can be configured as a WAN port to accept a wired broadband connection, with WAN Failover switching automatically to 4G should the wired line become unavailable.

Expanding your network:

To extend Wi-Fi coverage throughout a larger home or premises, pair the Archer MR200 with a compatible TP-Link OneMesh Range Extender or Powerline Adapter. Both devices will share the same Wi-Fi name and password, allowing devices to move between them without reconnecting.

Keeping the router in good condition:

Place the router on a flat, dry surface with adequate ventilation around it and avoid stacking other objects on top of it. Keep the unit away from direct sunlight and heat sources, and wipe the exterior with a dry cloth only. Operating temperature range is 0°C to 40°C.
