AI Detection and BabyCry Detection:

On-device AI identifies people entering the frame and sends a push notification directly to your phone via the Tapo app - without requiring a subscription. BabyCry Detection listens for the sound of a baby crying and alerts you immediately, making the C200 a practical dual-purpose monitoring solution for families.

Two-Way Audio with Built-In Siren:

Setup and Care

Getting Started:

Download the free Tapo app on iOS or Android and follow the in-app setup guide to connect the C200 to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. The camera can be placed on a flat surface or ceiling-mounted using the included plate, screws, and anchors.

microSD Card Installation:

Insert a Class 10 or UHS-1 microSD card (up to 512 GB, not included) into the slot on the camera body before powering on. The Tapo app will prompt you to format the card on first use.

Keeping the Camera Clean:

Wipe the camera body and lens cover with a soft, dry cloth when needed. Avoid using liquids or abrasive materials directly on the lens. The C200 is designed for indoor use only and should be kept away from moisture and direct sunlight.

Privacy and Security Settings:

Use the Privacy Mode feature in the Tapo app to pause recording when required. Regularly updating the camera firmware via the app ensures you have the latest security patches and feature improvements.
