The Tapo P100 measures just 51 x 72 x 40 mm, making it one of the smallest smart plugs available for UK and Irish 3-pin sockets. The compact footprint means it sits neatly in one socket without covering the adjacent outlet on a double-gang plate - a common problem with larger smart plugs. The polycarbonate housing carries a UL 94-V0 flame-retardant rating, and the nickel-plated phosphor bronze contacts are built to resist corrosion.

Control any device remotely via the Tapo app:

Once connected to your 2.4 GHz home Wi-Fi, the Tapo P100 lets you switch any plugged-in device on or off from anywhere using the free Tapo app on Android 4.4+ or iOS 9.0+. No separate hub or bridge is required - the plug connects directly to your router using WPA/WPA2/WPA3 wireless security. Initial setup uses Bluetooth 4.2 to pair the plug quickly before it hands over to Wi-Fi for everyday use.

Scheduling, timers, and Away Mode:

The Tapo app gives you scheduling, countdown timers, and Away Mode - a feature that turns connected devices on and off at random intervals to simulate occupancy when you are out of the house. Each plug handles a maximum resistive load of 2990 W at 13 A, covering lamps, fan heaters, coffee machines, and similar household appliances. Note that this model does not include energy monitoring; customers who need power consumption data should consider the Tapo P110 instead.
