The Tapo P100 connects to your home's 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and pairs with the free Tapo app on Android 4.4 or iOS 9.0 and above. Once set up, you can switch any connected appliance on or off from your phone, whether you're in the next room or away from home entirely. Each plug handles a maximum load of 2990 W at 13 A, making it suitable for lamps, fans, phone chargers, and similar household appliances.

Schedules, timers, and Away Mode:

Set weekly on/off schedules or use the countdown timer to automate routines - handy for lamps at dusk or a fan on a hot afternoon. Away Mode takes this a step further by randomising when connected devices switch on and off while you're out, helping your home look occupied. The plug retains its last state automatically if the power cuts out or the connection drops.

Quick setup with Bluetooth onboarding Technology:

Each P100 uses Bluetooth 4.2 during the initial pairing process, which removes the matching failures common with Wi-Fi-only setup methods. TP-Link state the plug is ready to use within 20 seconds, and no separate hub or bridge is required. Family sharing lets you grant access to other household members, and the interface is suited to users of any technical ability, including older family members.

Built with safety and fit in mind:

The P100's compact body measures 51 x 72 x 40 mm, specifically proportioned so it does not cover the socket beside it when plugged in - useful at a double socket where both outlets are needed. The plug is constructed from UL94-V0 flame-retardant polycarbonate and includes a sliding safety cover. It carries CE and RoHS certification and is approved for indoor use only, within an operating temperature range of 0°C to 35°C.
