Quiet pump, two ways to shower:

The T90ER DuElec is built around a Quiet Mark approved integrated pump that boosts water pressure from low-pressure gravity-fed cold supplies, making it well suited to homes where mains pressure alone would not deliver a comfortable shower. The Easy prime pump allows water to flow without needing to operate the pump manually, which simplifies start-up. For homes with stud walls that are more susceptible to vibration and noise, the Quiet Mark accreditation means the pump runs with noticeably less noise than standard pumped showers.

DuElec® dual showering:

The DuElec® kit provides two showering options from a single unit. The Easy-Switch Diverter Valve diverts water smoothly between the fixed 8-inch rainfall shower head overhead and the 5-spray-pattern handheld Easy-Clean Shower Head on the slide rail. The 1.5 m Anti-Twist Hose connects the handset, and a separate 1 m DuElec® connector hose links the diverter valve to the rainfall head.

A-rated efficiency and straightforward installation:

The T90ER carries an A energy efficiency rating and meets BEAB, CE, BS Kitemark and IP25 approvals. It is a direct replacement for older T90 models, sharing the same dimensions and wall fixing points, so there is no need to re-tile or re-plumb when upgrading. Water and cable entry is available from the left-hand side, top, bottom, or back of the unit, giving a plumber flexibility during installation.

Setup and Care

Planning installation:

The T90ER DuElec is designed for connection to a gravity-fed cold water supply only. Water and cable entry can be routed from the left-hand side of the unit via the top, bottom, or back entry points, giving a plumber flexibility to work with your existing pipe runs. A 32 A MCB and 6 mm² cable are required for the 9 kW model.

Professional installation:

Electric showers must be installed by a registered electrician and a qualified plumber in accordance with current Irish wiring regulations and building standards. The Easy prime pump function means the pump primes automatically at start-up without manual intervention.

Keeping the shower head clean:

The Easy-Clean Shower Head has a removable faceplate that lifts away for straightforward cleaning of the spray nozzles. Regularly wiping the spray plate with a damp cloth and descaling with a diluted household descaler helps maintain consistent spray performance, particularly in hard water areas.

Routine maintenance:

Inspect the Anti-Twist Hose periodically for signs of kinking or wear and replace if the outer sheath becomes cracked. The Quiet Mark approved pump is designed to run reliably within its specified pressure range; always ensure the minimum 8 cm head pressure is maintained for correct pump operation.
