Frequently Asked Questions

How far can this bouncy ball actually bounce?

This soft plush bouncing ball can bounce up to 50 feet when thrown against the ground, which puts it well beyond what most standard bouncy balls achieve. Despite being covered in black and yellow fur with orange antennae, the bounce performance is genuine. The Buzzy Bee Beanie Bouncer, model 83003, is as much a high-bounce play toy as it is a character collectible.

What age is this bouncy ball recommended for?

Buzzy Bee is recommended for children aged 3 to 9. At four inches across and around 80 g, it is compact and light enough for small hands, but parents should follow the minimum age guidance for younger siblings in the house. It works as both an active play toy for tossing, bouncing, catching and kicking, and as a soft collectible for display.

What makes this different from a plain rubber bouncy ball?

Unlike a standard rubber bouncy ball, this one is covered in soft black and yellow plush fur with orange antennae and oversized blue embroidered eyes, making it a character toy as well as a bouncer. It is part of TY's Beanie Bouncers range, which draws on the distinctive large-eye design of the best-selling Beanie Boos. Children can toss, bounce, catch, kick, roll or collect it, and each one comes with an official TY Heart swing tag.

How is this bouncy ball cleaned?

Buzzy Bee is surface clean only, so spot-clean the plush fur with a damp cloth rather than putting it in a washing machine or submerging it in water. This keeps the plush covering in good condition and protects the embroidered eyes and swing tag. No other maintenance is needed, and no batteries or accessories are included or required.

Can I recycle my old appliance or electrical item with Heavins.ie?

Yes, Heavins.ie is fully committed to environmental responsibility and participates in Ireland’s WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) recycling scheme. That means when you buy a new electrical item from us, we offer free recycling of your old appliance or electrical item.

What happens if I need to return my order?

Returns must be scheduled within 14 days of purchase, and the item must be returned in sellable condition, including original packaging where possible.
