3 lever mortice deadlock with 12.5mm anti-saw deadbolt:
The Union 2177 is a 3 lever mortice deadlock suited to internal and secondary doors in residential and light commercial properties. The brass deadbolt features hardened steel rollers that resist sawing attack, providing an additional layer of security beyond a standard brass bolt. The 12.5mm bolt throw locks securely into the included security box type striking plate. The deadbolt is operated by key from both sides of the door, locking and unlocking from inside and outside.
75mm case with 57mm backset for standard timber doors:
The 3 inch (75mm) case depth and 57mm backset suit standard timber doors. The lock is non-handed, fitting doors hinged on the left or right without modification. Suitable for timber doors up to 54mm thick. The polished brass forend and matching security box striking plate coordinate with brass door furniture. The Union 2177 can be keyed alike with other 2177 deadlocks and compatible Union locks (2077, 2157, 2277, 2477) by special order, making it practical for properties with multiple internal doors.

Each deadlock is supplied with 2 steel nickel plated keys, a pair of matching escutcheons (keyhole covers), and a polished brass security box striking plate. The Union 2177 has been one of the most widely fitted 3 lever deadlocks in the UK and Ireland for decades, providing a reliable, cost-effective locking solution for internal doors, bedroom doors, office doors, and secondary external doors where a 5 lever lock is not required. Also available in a 2.5 inch (64mm) case size.
