Drop the Landroid on your lawn and it maps the entire area automatically. The Vision AI detects your lawn layout and boundary types, creating an optimised mowing plan from the very first use. The system uses V-SLAM technology to capture landmarks and create a precise 3D map, whilst RTK records exact coordinates. If the satellite signal drops, the Vision Cloud system maintains accuracy using visual positioning. The mower learns and improves over time as it accumulates real-world mowing data.

Setup and Care

Charging station placement and initial setup:

Position the charging base on a flat, level area at the edge of your lawn with Wi-Fi network coverage. Secure the base using the included nails. Connect the charger to a weatherproof outdoor power supply. The charging station only requires network coverage at its location, not across the entire lawn. Insert the fully charged 20V 2.5Ah battery into the Landroid and download the Landroid app to your smartphone.

First mapping run and zone configuration:

Place the Landroid on your lawn and follow the app prompts to begin the automatic mapping process. The Vision AI and RTK Cloud will explore your lawn, mapping boundaries, obstacles, and terrain features. Once the initial map is complete, use the app to define mowing zones, set no-go areas, and configure your preferred mowing pattern and schedule. The system improves its mapping accuracy over subsequent mowing sessions.

Mowing schedule and pattern selection:

Set your preferred mowing schedule and pattern through the Landroid app. Choose from parallel stripes, chessboard, diamond layouts, or a natural pattern. The weather-adaptive scheduling automatically adjusts mowing times based on local rainfall, temperature, and grass growth rate. The Landroid will return to its charging base automatically when the battery is low and resume mowing once recharged.

Blade replacement and seasonal maintenance:

Replace the cutting blades when they become dull or damaged using the included hex key and replacement blades. Six replacement blades are included in the box. Clean the underside of the mower regularly with a garden hose to remove grass clippings and debris. Keep the charging contacts clean for reliable docking. Store the Landroid indoors during winter months and charge the battery fully before seasonal storage to maintain battery health. Update firmware regularly through the Landroid app for the latest navigation improvements.
