Setup and Care
Getting started:
Download the Mi Fitness app on Android 8.0+ or iOS 14.0+, create or sign into your Xiaomi account, and follow the in-app pairing instructions via Bluetooth 5.4. The initial charge via the magnetic charging cable takes the watch to full capacity before first use.
Wearing the watch:
Fit the TPU strap so the sensor sits flush against the back of the wrist for accurate heart rate and SpO2 readings. The strap adjusts between 135 mm and 205 mm to suit most wrist sizes, and the quick-release mechanism makes swapping bands straightforward.
Water and everyday use:
The 5ATM rating makes the Redmi Watch 6 suitable for pool swimming and general water exposure. Rinse the watch and strap with fresh water after swimming and allow to air dry before charging. Avoid exposing the watch to hot showers, steam rooms, or high-pressure water jets.
Keeping it clean:
Wipe the watch body and AMOLED glass with a soft, lint-free cloth. Clean the TPU strap with a lightly dampened cloth and dry thoroughly before wearing. Avoid abrasive materials or chemical cleaning agents on either the display or the strap.
