Setup and Care
Getting Started:
Plug the HDMI cable from the box into any HDMI port on your TV, connect the power adapter, and switch your TV input to the matching HDMI source. The Google TV setup wizard will guide you through Wi-Fi connection and Google account sign-in, which typically takes under five minutes.
Pairing the Remote:
The included Bluetooth voice remote pairs automatically during the initial setup process. Press and hold the back and home buttons simultaneously for three seconds to re-pair if needed. The microphone button activates Google Assistant for voice search at any time.
Keeping Software Up to Date:
Google TV checks for system updates automatically when connected to Wi-Fi. You can also check manually via Settings - System - About - System Update. Keeping the software current ensures access to the latest app versions and security patches.
General Care:
Place the box on a flat, ventilated surface away from direct heat sources - the device is passively cooled and does not require additional airflow clearance beyond normal handling. Wipe the outer casing with a dry or slightly damp cloth only; avoid liquid cleaners and do not obstruct the USB or HDMI ports.
