Garden Hoses

Garden Hoses

Garden hoses on this page range from simple starter hoses sold on their own up to complete hose reel sets that store the hose, fittings and sometimes a spray gun together. Lengths run from 20 metres for a smaller garden up to 60 metres for larger plots, with the most common diameter being 12.5mm (1/2 inch), while a 32mm flat discharge hose is built for higher-volume jobs such as draining a pond rather than everyday watering. Auto-rewind and retractable reels wind the hose back in automatically at the end of a job, which keeps a hose from being left out to perish or trip someone crossing the garden.

A hose cart or wall-mounted reel is worth the extra cost for anyone with a long run to cover, since dragging an unreeled hose across a lawn repeatedly is what shortens its working life fastest. Checking that fittings match existing tap connectors and spray guns avoids buying adapters separately.

Garden hoses here come from Hozelock, Karcher and Silverline. Browse Clearance Garden for reduced garden gear.
