Setup and Care

Choosing a location:

The WTH85224GB requires no external vent, so it can be positioned in any room with a standard 13-amp socket and adequate ventilation around the cabinet. Allow at least 10 mm clearance at the sides and rear for airflow. The adjustable feet, with up to 15 mm of travel, make levelling straightforward on uneven floors.

First use and stacking:

Before first use, wipe the drum interior with a damp cloth to remove any residue from manufacturing. If stacking on a washing machine, use a Bosch-compatible stacking kit to secure the dryer. The door hinge is on the right; check this suits your room layout before positioning the appliance.

Cleaning the filter and water drawer:

Remove and clean the EasyClean Filter after every cycle to maintain airflow and drying performance. The condensation water drawer, located at the top of the machine, should be emptied after each use unless you have connected the included water drain-set for continuous drainage.

Ongoing care:

Wipe the door seal and drum with a damp cloth periodically to prevent lint build-up. Do not use abrasive cleaners on the cabinet or control panel. If the dryer has not been used for an extended period, run a short timed cycle before loading laundry to bring the heat pump up to operating temperature.
