Setup and Care

Getting Started:

Place the Rivelia on a stable worktop with adequate clearance above for the bean hoppers. Fill the water tank with fresh cold water using the included water hardness strip to set the correct hardness level in the machine menu. Load your beans into one or both hoppers and select your preferred grind setting before running the initial rinse cycle as prompted by the display.

Daily Use:

Select your user profile from the touchscreen, choose your drink, and the machine handles grinding, dosing, brewing, and milk frothing automatically. The used grounds container holds up to 10 doses before emptying, and the display prompts you when the drip tray or grounds container needs attention. The milk carafe detaches and can be stored in the fridge between uses.

Cleaning:

After each milk drink, run the one-touch automatic cleaning cycle for the LatteCrema Hot circuit. The brewing unit lifts out without tools and rinses under the tap. The drip tray, grounds container, and milk carafe are dishwasher safe. The machine guides you through a full automatic descaling programme when required, using the included descaler.

Bean Switching:

To change beans in either hopper, select Switch Mode from the menu. This automatically empties the grinder of the current bean before you refill, preventing flavour cross-contamination. Bean Adapt Technology recalibrates settings automatically once the new bean is detected.
