Setup and Care

Getting started:

Place the PowerDock on a hard, level surface with at least 0.5 m clear space on each side and 1.5 m in front. Fill the clean water tank in the dock, plug in the power cable, and download the Dreame app on your smartphone to connect the robot to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. The app guides you through the initial mapping run and allows you to set room-specific cleaning preferences, no-go zones, and schedules.

Day-to-day operation:

Once set up, the PowerDock handles emptying, mop washing, mop drying, and water refilling automatically after each clean. Check the 3.2 L dock dustbin every few sessions and empty when full, and top up the 4.0 L clean water tank as needed. The app will notify you when either requires attention.

Keeping it running well:

Rinse the dirty water tank in the dock after each mopping session and allow it to air-dry before replacing. Periodically check the HyperStream Detangling DuoBrush 2.0 for any debris build-up and remove any strands that have accumulated near the end caps. Wipe the AI OmniSight camera lenses with a dry soft cloth to maintain navigation accuracy.

Long-term care:

The 80% battery charge limit set by PowerMaster technology is active by default and helps preserve battery capacity over the life of the robot - leave this setting enabled for routine use. Store the unit on its PowerDock when not in use to keep it charged and ready. Refer to the Dreame app for firmware update notifications, which can be applied over Wi-Fi to keep the robot's mapping and obstacle-recognition software current.
