Setup and Care

Getting started:

Allow the fridge freezer to stand upright for at least 4 hours after delivery before switching it on, so the refrigerant settles correctly. The door hinge is set to the right by default but can be reversed to suit your kitchen layout - refer to the user manual for hinge reversal instructions.

Temperature settings:

Use the internal LED display to set the fridge between 2°C and 8°C. The Super Cool function is useful after a large grocery shop - activate it to bring the temperature down quickly, and it will return to your normal setting automatically.

Managing frost and defrosting:

Low Frost technology reduces ice build-up but does not eliminate it entirely - occasional manual defrosting of the freezer will still be needed. The fridge section defrosts automatically. Always unplug the unit before defrosting and remove all food to an insulated bag or cool box while the process is underway.

Cleaning and maintenance:

Wipe the interior with a soft cloth and a mild solution of bicarbonate of soda in warm water - avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents on any surface. Clean the door seals regularly to maintain the anti-bacterial seal integrity and ensure a proper close. The open door alarm will sound if the door is not fully closed, which helps avoid unnecessary energy use.
