Hoover 10kg Washer Dryer with KG Mode and NFC App Control

Smart load sensing with KG Mode:

The Hoover H3D4106TE/1-80 uses KG Mode to automatically weigh each load and adjust water, energy use, and cycle time accordingly. This means a half-full drum uses only what it needs rather than running a full-capacity cycle every time. With a 10kg wash capacity and 6kg drying capacity, it handles the laundry needs of a busy household in a single freestanding unit.

SensorDry and four drying levels:

The SensorDry system monitors moisture levels during the drying phase and stops the cycle when clothes reach the selected dryness level. Four drying levels give you control over the finish, from cupboard-dry to iron-dry, reducing the risk of over-drying and helping to protect fabrics. The drum is stainless steel throughout.

NFC connectivity and the hOn app:

NFC (Near Field Communication) lets you connect a smartphone to the machine by holding it close, with no Wi-Fi pairing required. Through the Hoover hOn app, you can access the Wash Assist feature for programme suggestions and stain removal guidance, monitor cycle progress, and receive Smart Maintenance alerts for cleaning and upkeep reminders. The app also unlocks additional programmes beyond the 15+1 built into the machine.

Programmes and controls:

Touch controls and an LED display manage 15+1 programmes, including quick wash options of 14 minutes for small loads and 59 minutes for a full load. A 24-hour delay start timer lets you schedule washes around your day. Spin speed is adjustable from 400 to 1400rpm, and the machine holds Woolmark certification for its wool care programme.

Setup and Care

Positioning:

Install the machine on a firm, level floor capable of supporting 65 kg. Allow adequate clearance at the rear for the cold-fill water inlet hose and drain outlet. The door hinges on the left side, so plan your space accordingly when positioning the unit.

First use:

Remove all transit bolts from the rear of the machine before connecting the water supply. Run an empty drum cycle on a cotton programme before loading clothes for the first time to flush the drum and pipework.

Drum and door care:

Wipe the stainless steel drum and door seal with a damp cloth after use to remove residual moisture and prevent odour build-up. Leave the door ajar between washes to allow air to circulate inside the drum. The hOn app sends Smart Maintenance alerts when cleaning tasks are due.

Detergent and load guidance:

Use detergent quantities appropriate to your load size; KG Mode adjusts the water and cycle time automatically, so the correct detergent amount matters for best results. Check garment care labels before selecting a programme, and use the Wool programme for wool garments labelled as machine washable.
