KG Mode detects the weight of laundry within the first 4 minutes of a programme and automatically adjusts the water level, energy use, and cycle duration to match the actual load. This means a half-full drum does not run through a full-drum cycle, which reduces both water and energy consumption on lighter washes. The H Wash 300 Lite's condensation drying system requires no external vent, so installation is straightforward in kitchens and utility rooms alike.

Hoover One Touch NFC connectivity and the Hoover Wizard App:

Hoover One Touch uses NFC (Near Field Communication) to link a compatible smartphone to the machine - place the phone on the appliance and it connects instantly to the Hoover Wizard App on iOS or Android. Setup and Care

Positioning and installation:

The H3D4852DE/1-80 is a freestanding front-load appliance measuring 600 x 540 x 850 mm (W x D x H) and requires a standard cold water inlet connection and a suitable drain outlet. Condensation drying collects moisture internally, so no external vent or ducting is required. Adjustable feet allow the machine to be levelled on uneven flooring.

Using KG Mode effectively:

For best results with KG Mode, load the drum and select your chosen programme without manually adjusting the water level - the machine measures the load in the first 4 minutes and sets the water and energy levels automatically. This function works across the main cotton and mixed-load programmes.

Connecting to the Hoover Wizard App:

Download the Hoover Wizard App on a compatible iOS or Android smartphone. To connect, hold the phone near the NFC area on the appliance (no Wi-Fi or Bluetooth pairing required). The app provides programme selection, stain guidance, and maintenance reminders.

Routine care:

Clean the filter regularly as described in the instruction manual; the Hoover Wizard App can send filter-cleaning reminders. Wipe the door seal and drum interior periodically with a damp cloth to keep the machine in good working order. Run a maintenance wash on the Cotton programme at 60°C or above every few weeks to keep the drum fresh.
