This 1 litre concentrated formula kills 99.9% of bacteria and viruses, including coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 and Avian Influenza H5N1, and carries DEFRA approval for use against avian influenza. The clear liquid is safe to use on light-coloured surfaces such as pale paving slabs, rendered walls, and white-painted timber.

Versatile dilution for multiple outdoor tasks:

The concentrated formula dilutes to suit the job at hand. For paths, patios, and driveways, mix 1 part Jeyes Fluid with 1 part water, apply, and leave for 30 minutes - one litre yields up to 2 litres of solution at this ratio. For greenhouses, plant pots, and garden tools, dilute 1 part with 19 parts water to yield up to 20 litres of cleaning fluid. For animal housing including kennels, stables, chicken coops, and pigeon lofts, use the same 1:19 ratio, leave for 30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

Outdoor drain cleaning and deodorising:

For blocked or malodorous outdoor drains, Jeyes Fluid can be poured directly without dilution, then rinsed through for five minutes. For routine disinfection of drains, dilute 1 part Jeyes Fluid with 9 parts water. Used weekly, it removes grease and dirt build-up and neutralises odours at the source.
