Shark StainStriker Pet Stain and Spot Cleaner for Carpets and Upholstery

How the StainStriker tackles stains:

The Shark StainStriker PX200UKT is a corded spot cleaner that combines high-pressure spray with suction to lift ground-in dirt, stains and odours from carpets, rugs, stairs and upholstery. Its dual-activated formula mixes CarpetXpert Deep Clean Pro and StainStriker OXY Multiplier solutions inside the tool on contact, so no pre-treatment or scrubbing is needed before you start cleaning.

Shark stain striker performance:

The high-pressure spray system distributes water and cleaning solution evenly and deeply into carpet and upholstery fibres without oversoaking, helping carpets and fabric surfaces dry faster after cleaning. The 450-watt motor provides consistent suction throughout the cleaning process, extracting loosened dirt and solution into the separate 720 ml dirty water tank so it stays clear of the clean solution.

Four specialist tools for different stains:

The PX200UKT pet variant includes four attachments: the Tough Stain Hand Tool, Wide Tough Stain Hand Tool, Pet Stain Trapping Tool and Crevice Tool. The Pet Stain Trapping Tool collects hair, debris and dirty liquid in a separate compartment, stopping larger debris and solids from entering the hose and main unit. The 1.3-metre hose connects all four tools to the main unit and allows thorough access to stairs, upholstery and tight corners without repositioning the machine.

Practical design for everyday use:

The 1.25-litre clean solution tank reduces the need for frequent refills during a cleaning session, while the 4.5-metre cord gives an operating radius of 5.7 metres. When not in use, the hose clips directly to the unit for compact storage. Note: the StainStriker is suitable for carpets, rugs, upholstery and fabric surfaces only - it is not suitable for use on hard floors or wool carpets.

Setup and Care

Getting started:

Cleaning after use:

Empty and rinse the dirty water tank after each cleaning session to keep the unit fresh and ready for next use. Rinse the clean solution tank if it will not be used again within a short period.

Filter care:

Remove and rinse the foam filter regularly under cold water. Allow the filter to dry fully before refitting to maintain consistent suction performance.

Storage:

Clip the hose to the side of the unit using the integrated hose storage clip. Store in a dry indoor location with both tanks empty to keep the unit in good condition between uses.
