Clearance Christmas

Around 120 reduced Christmas lines. Lights are the bulk of it, and almost all of them are Premier: LED tree light sets from 100 up to 3,000 count across the Treebright, Clusterbright, Microbrights, BerryBrights and Ultrabrights ranges. Nearly all include a timer, which is the feature most people end up wishing they had bought. There are battery timer sets, icicle lights, path lights and snowflake curtain lights as well.

Decoration comes from Festive and Three Kings: light up and infinity mirror figures, prelit parcels and bows, standing, plush and musical Santas from 60cm to 180cm, gonks, squeezy Santas, snowmen and trees, and InLit decor houses. Artificial Feel Real spruce and pine trees at 2.2m come from National Tree Company, with 9ft garlands and wreaths to match, plus tree skirts, tree storage bags, shatterproof baubles and bauble storage boxes.

On timing: Irish demand for lights and decorations starts as soon as Halloween stock clears in late October, builds through the town light switch ons in mid November and peaks from late November to around the 18th of December. The genuine clearance window then runs from St Stephen's Day into mid January.

The practical advice is to buy lights in the January window and decorations in October. Light sets do not change much year to year, so a reduced 1,000 count Treebright bought in January is the same product it was in December at full price. Order at Heavins.ie, or see the wider clearance sale.
