Bahco 319 Hand Hacksaw with Sandflex Blades for Clean, Accurate Cuts
Built for straight, accurate cutting:
The Bahco 319 uses a steel-tube core inside a two-component plastic-coated frame, which allows the blade to be tensioned to a high degree without flexing the frame. That firm, consistent tension is what keeps the blade tracking straight through metal, non-ferrous metals, and plastic, giving you cleaner cuts with less effort.
Flush cutting where you need it:
Alternative 55° blade mounting pins let you rotate the blade to a sideways position, so you can cut flush to a surface or work right into a corner where a standard blade orientation would not reach. The frame has no protruding tensioning knobs or wing nuts - the tensioning mechanism sits inside the handle - so the tool sits closer to the workpiece and gets into tighter spaces.
A comfortable grip for extended use:
The soft non-slip handle includes a front grip position, letting you steer the saw with your leading hand for better control on longer cuts. The overall frame weighs 510g - light enough to use without fatigue, balanced enough to keep the cut running true.
Blades ready when you need them:
The hacksaw is supplied with a 300mm Sandflex® 24 TPI bi-metal blade already fitted to the frame, plus three spare blades. Sandflex® is Bahco's own bi-metal blade, made to resist snapping under the sideways stress that is common on hack cuts, so you are not stopping mid-job to swap a broken blade.
