Setup and Care

Positioning:

Place the machine on a firm, level floor with adequate clearance at the rear for the hoses. Remove all four transit bolts from the back panel before running the first cycle - these are supplied for transport and must be taken out before use to protect the drum bearings.

First use:

Run a short rinse or empty cotton cycle before washing garments for the first time to flush the drum and hoses. Fill the i-DOS detergent reservoir with liquid detergent and fabric softener, then set the dosing level to match your water hardness area - this is done once during initial setup via the display menu.

Condenser maintenance:

The condenser unit collects lint from drying cycles and should be rinsed under a tap every few months to maintain drying efficiency. The fluff filter in the door seal area should be checked and cleared after each drying cycle. Both components are accessible without tools.

Drum and dispenser care:

Run a drum clean cycle monthly using a proprietary washing machine cleaner to prevent limescale and detergent build-up. After each use, leave the door and detergent drawer slightly open to allow the drum interior to dry out and prevent odour. The i-DOS reservoirs can be topped up at any time and rinsed out if switching detergent brands.
